Testimonials

Prasant K Jena, August 2014 - Currenta Post Doctoral scholar working in UC Davis Medical Center. This is my first visit to US from India. I have  communicated   Mr. AI Williamson, the Land owner via email before coming to US and the first time I met him at the bus stop as he came there to receive me at 11 pm. I surprised for his help.

When I came to the apartment, he  arranged every daily requirements for me. He has been taking care of all the basic needs whenever necessary. Beyond this also he rendered help for shopping for required stuffs when I am entirely new to this place. It was a nice experience for me as a foreigner to stay in Williamson's apartment.

From my point of view, he is kindest gentleman, who can understand a need of a person who came from another country. He is a very nice person, polite, and helpful person. In day to day basis, he always taking care of all the people who  are staying at his apartment complex and also very hard working to maintain clean of the society campus. Overall, I am feeling, it was good to have such kind of Landlord and staying at his home. I am very glad and most comfortable with his hospitality.

Karla Plascencia - 2005 to 2013 - I lived in Apartment #8 as I interned at UCDMC and worked on my nursing degree. The complex is extremely neat, Al pays a lot of attention to detail. If I ever needed anything he would make sure it was handled immediately. I was very impressed with how friendly and prompt he was. Both landlords are super attentive. I felt like I could communicate any concern and they would be addressed right away. In all honesty I felt that they wanted their tenants to be happy.

During the eight years I lived in the complex I never had a problem and felt very comfortable living close to the med center. As a 5-foot tall, single woman, felt safe but, of course, I didn’t walk around at 1:00 am. Most of my neighbors were students and very friendly. I had to relocate due to graduate school otherwise I would have never moved out. My experience was flawless. It is the ideal complex
for students!

Josh Bradshaw, October 2014, Apt 4B - I came to Sacramento for a 1-month away rotation at UC Davis Medical Center.  Al was very flexible and was able to work me in last minute just a week before.  The apartment had everything I needed for the month - a private locked room with a bed, a desk, shared kitchen with fridge and cupboard space, shared bathroom, wifi fast enough to stream movies and skype.  Al told me when I showed up to let him know if I needed anything else and when I asked him for an iron, he showed up with a brand new iron and ironing board the next day.  The apartment is close to UCD - just a few minutes away on the bike that is provided with the apartment.  There is also parking in the back if you need it and there is always street parking available.  This was a perfect place to stay for the month and I would highly recommend it to any med students doing a rotation at UCD.

Nian Verzosa, September 2014, Apt 6 - I received a diversity scholarship to do a rotation at UC Davis and was placed in Apartment 6. The apartment provided the basic necessities: clean bedroom, fully furnished with a kitchen, bicycle for easy access around Sacramento, good location about a 5 min. bike ride from the hospital, easy to find parking, and internet. I felt the room met my needs for my month long away rotation. Al, the manager, was easily accessible through text or phone to help with any issues I had. I would recommend this to future med student rotators looking for housing near UCDMC.
